Detailed disclosure rules
Arizona offers conditional anonymity, not full anonymity. For prizes of $100,000 or more, the name of a person or legally formed entity paid the prize is confidential on request. If no request is made, the name stays confidential for 90 days after the prize is awarded and may then be released. City and county of residence are not confidential, and Arizona Lottery guidance says the Lottery may also release details such as the retailer name and location, ticket purchase date, and prize amount. Arizona Lottery guidance says a blind trust cannot collect winnings because prizes of $600 or more are subject to the state's debt-setoff process. Whether another trust, LLC, or other entity may claim in ordinary privacy planning is not answered directly here. If privacy matters, request confidentiality on an eligible claim and avoid voluntarily consenting to name disclosure.
