New Jersey (NJ) Cash 5 Results, Winning Numbers & Game Details

Playing New Jersey Cash 5 is straightforward. You'll pick 5 numbers from 1 to 45, then add one Bullseye from 1 to 45. Can't decide? Go with Quick Pick and let the terminal choose random numbers for you. Drawings happen every day at 10:57 PM ET, and you win by matching numbers to the drawn results. The more you match, the bigger your prize. Match all 5 plus the Bullseye, and you've hit the jackpot.

Visit any authorized New Jersey Lottery retailer, most convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery stores sell tickets. Tell the clerk you want Cash 5, or use a self-service terminal if available. You can pick your own numbers or ask for Quick Pick. Tickets cost $2.00 per play, plus $1.00 if you add XTRA to multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to 10x. Make sure to buy before the sales cutoff, which is 10:53 PM ET on drawing days. Always check your ticket before leaving the store.

A standard New Jersey Cash 5 ticket costs $2.00 per play. Add XTRA for an extra $1.00, bringing your total to $3.00 per play. XTRA multiplies non-jackpot prizes by up to 10x. Want more chances? Playing New Jersey Cash 5 online through courier services works just like buying in person, but more convenient. Download the Jackpot.com app or visit their website. Select Cash 5, choose your numbers (or Quick Pick), and set your wager. The service buys an official ticket from a New Jersey retailer and scans it to your account. You'll get notifications when you win, and prizes under $600 are credited automatically. Bigger wins require an in-person claim.

New Jersey Cash 5 draws every day at 10:57 PM ET. Sales close at 10:53 PM ET before each drawing. You can buy tickets for the next drawing up until the cutoff. Miss the cutoff? XTRA is an optional add-on that costs an extra $1.00 per play. It multiplies your non-jackpot winnings by 2x to 10x. The multiplier number is drawn separately right after the main drawing. Here's the catch: it doesn't multiply the jackpot. But for lower prize tiers, XTRA can significantly boost your winnings, potentially multiplying them by up to 10x. That's a significant boost. You decide whether to add XTRA when buying your ticket. Can't add it later.

Cash 5 is exclusive to New Jersey. You'll need to be physically present in New Jersey to buy tickets, either at a retail location or through a licensed courier service while you're in-state.
